There is very little tourist traffic on the pristine trekking routes in Bhutan. Naturally one has the pleasant sensation of breaking fresh ground on treks in Bhutan. The Chomolhari trek follows the crystal clear trout rich upstream trail of Paro Chulalong the verdant Rhododendron canopied forest and salubrious green alpine meadows. Mt. Chomolhari, having one of the most beautiful peaks in East Himalayas, stands at a magnificent 7300 meters with age old frontier forts and sprawling yak pastures in its foreground. A truly rewarding sight for determined trekkers. In the course of the trek, one will have journeyed through several places rich in history in Paro, Thimphu and Punkha valley.
Day 01 Kathmandu - Thimpu Take a panoramic flight from Kathmandu to Paro. You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 02 Full day local sightseeing tour of Paro. Overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 03 Trek to Shana. (2757 m.).
Day 04 Trek Shana to Soi Thangthangkha (3466 m.).
Day 05 Trek Soi Thangthangkha to Jangothang (4040 m.).
Day 06 Trek Jangothang to Lingshi (4150 m.).
Day 07 Trek Lingshi to Shodu (3963 m.).
Day 08 Trek Shodu to Dolam Kencho (3628 m.).
Day 09 Trek Dolam Kencho to Dodinanad and drive to Thimpu. Overnight at hotel in Thimpu.
Day 10 Local sightseeing tour of Thimpu in the morning. After breakfast we drive to Paro. Overnight at hotel in Paro.
Day 11 Paro - Kathmandu.
Drive to the airport for your flight to Kathmandu. Arrive Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.

The national airline of Bhutan Druk Air operates flights from Calcutta, Delhi, Dacca and Bangkok. It is also possible to enter and exit Bhutan by overland transportation, stopping enroute at Sikkim & Darjeeling (India).

All meals & accommodation on twin sharing basis at the best available Hotel, Tourist Cottage. All surface transport with in Bhutan ( Comfortable Japanese vehicles). Sightseeing including entry to museum. as per itinerary with English speaking guide.
