• Glimpses of Bhutan
    (3 Nights / 4 Days 2007) Minimum Pax 1

    Day 01 Kathmandu - Thimpu.
    Take a panoramic flight from Kathmandu to Paro catching glimpses of Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchanjunga, Mt. Chomolhari, Mt. Jichu Drake etc. You will be met at the airport and transferred to Thimpu ( 65 Kms./2 hrs. Approx.). Overnight at hotel in Thimpu.

    Day 02 Thimpu Sightseeing.
    Sightseeing tour of the Memorial Chorten of His Late Jigme Dorjee Wangchuk, Zeleukha Nunnery, and the National Library. After lunch stroll down town to the Handicraft Development Corporation of Bhutan.

    Day 03 Thimpu - Paro.
    Morning drive to Paro. After lunch we drive through the Paro Valley for a sightseeing tour of the Drukgyel Dzong / Kyichu Lhakhang. The view of the Chomolhari Mountain is spectacular most of the way. We also visit the Ta Dzong which displays a rich collection of fine arts and weapons.

    Day 04 Paro - Kathmandu.
    Drive to the airport for your flight back to Kathmandu.
    Arrive Kathmandu and Transfer to Hotel.

    The national airline of Bhutan Druk Air operates flights from Calcutta, Delhi, Dacca and Bangkok. It is also possible to enter and exit Bhutan by overland transportation, stopping enroute at Sikkim & Darjeeling (India).

    All meals & accommodation on twin sharing basis at the best available Hotel, Tourist Cottage. All surface transport with in Bhutan ( Comfortable Japanese vehicles). Sightseeing including entry to museum. as per itinerary with English speaking guide. For Treks - accommodation in the best available tents (MOSS) with all meals, thermal mattresses, hot water bottles, dinning & Kitchen tents, toilet tents, Portage, riding/pack ponies and yaks wherever required.
