Health & First Aid
Good health and physical fitness are required on all trips. We recommend a physical examination for all participants on extended treks and rigorous rafting trips. Trekkers are advised to make known to us their health complications in advance. Trekkers should also carry a first aid kit to supplement our first aid kit.

Insurance
It is highly recommended that all participants in our treks and rafting trips must be protected by insurance that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation and loss or theft or damage to baggage and personal effects. Emergency evacuation must be paid in cash in Nepal if an insurance certificate cannot be produced. The medical policy should cover transport costs in the event of helicopter or surface evacuation being required. Such insurance is not locally available. Medical evacuation by helicopter costs approximately US $1000 per hour. It is important that any insurance policy issued to cover emergency evacuation for a trek does not exclude Alpinism and mountaineering. This insurance is not available in Nepal.

Insurance costs are minimal when compared with possible losses and the consequences suffered when rescue aircraft refuse to operate due to lack of payment or proof thereof.

Delays and Itinerary Changes
We regret that delays or changes in itineraries caused by circumstances beyond our control may occur. Our company will deal accordingly, and consult our clients, rearranging a satisfactory itinerary.

Assumption of Rsk
The participant understands that during the course of the trip certain risks and dangers may occur due to the hazards of traveling in mountainous terrain, accident or illness in remote places and the forces of nature. The participant must agree to assume all risks associated with the journey, and agree that no liability will be attached to the company or its outfitters, employees or agents, or any member of the tour group for loss of any kind.
