Day 01 Kathmandu
Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Meet & transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 02 Kathmandu
Sight ? seeing tour of Pashupatinath ? the holiest Hindu temple in Nepal, Baudhanath ? the world's biggest stupa and Bhaktapur ? the medieval city of devotees. Afternoon sight ?seeing tour of Patan city visiting the Golden temple and Tibetan Refugee Camp.
Day 03-11 Kathmandu - Dolalghat
The river of gold, named due to gold dust found in its waters is one of the best rivers in the world for rafting. It is fed by the Bhote Koshi which drains the snow melt from the Langtang and Phurbichyachu Mountains bordering Tibet. With the rapids encountered of grades 3-5, the Sun Koshi is a "step up" from the Trishuli on difficulty and adventure. The river takes its route through less inhabited areas on average at least 2 days walk from any road-head. The expedition ends at Chatara on day 11. Camp at Chatara.
Day 12 Chatara - Chitwan National Park
After breakfast we drive to Chitwan National Park for Jungle Safari and a well deserved rest. Overnight at Chitwan.
Day 13 Chitwan National Park
Wildlife activities provided by the camp which include jungle safari, nature walk, bird watching, elephant ride, dugout canoe ride in the Rapti River providing opportunities to see Crocodiles, Rhinoceroses, many species of Birds, other wild animals and with a little luck, the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Day 14 Chitwan - Kathmandu
Drive Chitwan to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 15 Kathmandu
Free day in Kathmandu.
