Langtang National Park lies north of Kathmandu covering the areas of Helambu, the area north of Malamchi Khola, Gosainkunda - the site of seven lakes and Langtang Valley itself. This area is easily accessible from Kathmandu and offers a trip full of diversity. The trail begins from an area of Hindu influence going through Gosainkunda - a hindu pilgrimage where up to 50,000 pilgrims go to bath in August, then we move up through buddhist villages entering Helambu which is inhabited by Sherpas.
