The trek starts at Melamchi and passes through Tamang, Sherpa villages. It leads to Buddhist Monasteries at Tarkeghyang and Tharipati, situated on the ridge at the highest altitude of the trek - 11,789 ft. The trail continues southwards thorough fir forest and reaches the Tamang village of Gul Bhanjyang. The walk on the ridge offers views of Gosainkunda and Langtang. Visit to Gopte provides wonderful views of Annapurna, Himalchuli, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal. Finally the trail descends to Chisapani.
Day 01:
Drive to Melamchi and trek to Talamarang.
Day 02:
Timpu.
Day 03:
Tarkeghayang (8400 ft.).
Day 04:
Kuil (4800 ft.).
Day 05:
Pati bhanjyang (5800 ft.).
Day 06:
Chisapani - Kathmandu.
Price will be furnished upon request keeping in mind the number of group members.
Package price includes :
All camping equipment. Guide, Sherpa, Porters, Cook, Kitchen Staff, 3 meals a day, Morning tea & Afternoon Tea with light snacks.
Price does not include :
Transportaion to/from Melamchi & Chisapani, Insurance, emergency evacuation and other medical fees if any, other expenses of a personal nature.
