The trek to Gokyo offers an alternative to the traditional trek to Everest Base camp. From Gokyo , more of Everest itself is visible, though from a slightly greater distance then from Kalapatar above
Ghorak shep. The mountains are more spectacular, the Ngozumpa Glacier is the largest in Nepal. Himalaya and from ridge above Gokyo, four 8000m peaks(Cho Oyo, Everest, Lhotse and Makaly) are visible at once. Maximum elevation 5318m. This trek is difficulty to medium to hard.

Fly to Lukla (9200 ft.) and trek to Phakding (2800 m)
Day 02:
Namche (3500 m.)
Day 03:
Acclimatisation day
Day 04:
Phorts Thanga (3900 m.)
Day 05:
Dole (42000 m)
Day 06:
Machhermo (4411 m)
Day 07:
Gokyo (4750 m)
Day 08:
Climb to Kalapattar and back to Gokyo.
Day 09:
Phortse.
Day 10:
Namche Bazar
Day 11:
Phakding
Day 12
Lukla
Day 13
Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu.
Price will be furnished upon request keeping in mind the number of group members.
Package price includes :
All camping equipment. Guide, Sherpa, Porters, Cook, Kitchen Staff, 3 meals a day, Morning tea & Afternoon Tea with light snacks, flight fare for Guide, cook and sherpas from/to Lukla.
Price does not include :
Flight fare to/from lukla (US $ 186.), Insurance, emergency evacuation and other medical fees if any, other expenses of a personal nature.
