This special 5 day trek visits the homes of Gurung and Magars and passes gradually through oak, pine and rhododendron forests abounding in birds. Panoramic views of the majestic Himalayan Range of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna can be seen all along the trail. The trek descends from Chandrakot and follows the Modi Khola towards the Gurung village at Ghandruk. This pleasant and easy ridge walk from Landruk ends at Dhampus before descending down to Pokhara.
Day 01:
Drive to Bagar and trek to Sarankot.
Day 02:
Chandrakot (5125 ft.)
Day 03:
Ghandruk (6400 ft.)
Day 04:
Dhampus (5900 ft.)
Day 05:
Descend to Pokhara through Hyangja and drive to Pokhara.
Price will be furnished upon request keeping in mind the number of group members.
Package price includes :
All camping equipment. Guide, Sherpa, Porters, Cook, Kitchen Staff, 3 meals a day, Morning tea & Afternoon Tea with light snacks, Local transportation to/from Trail head/end.
Price does not include :
Transportaion to/from Pokhara, Insurance, emergency evacuation and other medical fees if any, other expenses of a personal nature.
