After a 45 minute drive from Kathmandu we start our trek at Changunarayan temple. This temple was built in 323 AD. and is one of the greatest monument to the culture and architecture of the time. We then walk to Nagarkote for overnight camp. The next morning we view the sunrise over the Himalays and Everest from Nagarkote. The trail from Nagarkote continues passing through several villages following the ridge in the north - western direction past Bhotechaur, we then descend to Sundarijal and drive back to Kathmandu.
